It is made to improve interaction between the different parts of the project so that each partner understands the work and needs of the others.<\/p>\n<h2>FOX updates<\/h2>\n<p>On day one, the partners of the three segments of the project presented the work conducted in the previous 6 months.<\/p>\n<h3>Segment 1: Research and technology<\/h3>\n<p>This part of the project focuses on the technological development for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox-foodprocessinginabox.eu\/research\/food-circles\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">four food circles<\/a>, the four European regions in which the FOX technologies will be demonstrated and integrated into the food production chain. ( ( 4% ) * 0.5 ) );margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:20px;\"><div class=\"fusion-column-wrapper fusion-flex-column-wrapper-legacy\" style=\"background-position:left top;background-repeat:no-repeat;-webkit-background-size:cover;-moz-background-size:cover;-o-background-size:cover;background-size:cover;padding: 0px 0px 0px 0px;\"><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\"><h3>Segment 2: Impact<\/h3>\n<p>This part of the project ensures that sustainable food circles will be developed with respect to economic and ecological viability and consumers\u2019 demands.<\/p>\n<p>For this, the partners continued working on imaging <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox-foodprocessinginabox.eu\/brochure-three-scenarios-for-europes-food-sector-in-2035\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">future scenarios for the food sector<\/a>, the preparation of the business model, consumer engagement and the development of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox-foodprocessinginabox.eu\/research\/resources\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FOXLINK<\/a>\u00a0application (launch early 2021).<\/p>\n<p>Partners also provided results on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Life Cycle Analysis of the FOX mobile apple juice system<\/li>\n<li>Health impact assessment methodology of the FOX innovative food products<\/li>\n<li>Combination of qualitative future scenarios and LCA in the food and agricultural sector<\/li>\n<li>Socio-economic and environmental performance of small-scale and mild fruit and vegetable processing technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All these results were presented at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox-foodprocessinginabox.eu\/fox-attends-lcafood2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">LCAFood2020 event.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"imageframe-align-center\"><span class=\" fusion-imageframe imageframe-none imageframe-5 hover-type-none\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"2133\" height=\"1600\" title=\"LCA_Food-01-1\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%272133%27%20height%3D%271600%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%202133%201600%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%272133%27%20height%3D%271600%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-orig-src=\"http:\/\/www.fox-foodprocessinginabox.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/LCA_Food-01-1.jpg\" alt class=\"lazyload img-responsive wp-image-5848\"\/><\/span><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-double\" style=\"border-color:#ffffff;border-top-width:15px;border-bottom-width:15px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-sep-clear\"><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-7\"><h3>Segment 3: Outreach<\/h3>\n<p>This part of the project aims at raising awareness by communicating on the project to the different stakeholders.<\/p>\n<p>Partners of this segment recently organised an online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox-foodprocessinginabox.eu\/insights-from-fox-organised-best-practices-for-innovation-workshop-with-european-farmers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">workshop to exchange on \u201cbest practices for innovation\u201d<\/a> with the FOX European stakeholders.
