In one of the FOX European regions, Food Circle 1<\/span><\/a>, FOX partners are developing a mobile container unit<\/strong> to process high-quality juice with \u2018Low oxygen juice extraction and mild preservation\u2019, close to the farm.<\/p>\n

This mobile juice processing container will allow local producers to bring surplus fruits and vegetables<\/strong> to process. Thus, the FOX container limits food waste, fosters short food supply chains and creates business opportunities<\/strong> for local communities and cooperatives.<\/p>\n

This container also holds innovative processing technologies that allow low oxygen juice extraction (vacuum spiral filter press) and mild-temperature preservation (Pulsed Electric Field<\/a><\/span>). Thus, colours, aroma, flavour<\/strong> and nutritional components are preserved<\/strong> and juice shelf life is prolonged, using less energy.<\/p>\n

The juice processing container is mobile and flexible<\/strong>, it can be moved within a region from farmer to farmer and can be used for different types of harvested fruit and vegetables.<\/p>\n<\/div>
