FOX partners Fraunhofer ISI and DIL have been invited by DG AGRI to present the FOX project, in particular, the study “50 trends influencing Europe’s food sector by 2035”.
The Workshop “Research and innovation roadmap: farmers and rural agri-food SMEs in food systems transitioning to sustainability” (14-15 January 2020, Brussels) was populated by around 40 experts from the European Commission and from the European scientific scene.
The FOX presentation was next to other presentations an appetizer to inspire workshop participants to discuss challenges and opportunities for R&D, to identify and prioritise R&D needs and think about implementation.
All this was will contribute to the road mapping of Horizon Europe, especially regarding Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment).
