Two FOX partners participated in the 8th PEF School that took place from 30th may – 3rd June in France.

On the 2nd June, 2 partners from the FOX project participated with their presentations to the PEF School. Dr Artur Wiktor and Dr Malgorzata Nowacka, researchers of Warsaw University of Life Sciences SGGW – partner of the FOX project, presented the FOX project and results from the research conducted within the project. As well, Stefan Toepfl and Oleksii Paniakov, members of partner Elea,  covered the industrial applications of PEF.

The 8th PEF School took place from 30th may – 3rd June in France. FOX partners participated with their presentations on the 2nd of June.

PEF School is a course offered to PhD students, early-stage researchers and industrial users of the technology. The aim is to provide an overview of knowledge and understanding of the basic principles involved in processing by pulsed electric fields and to provide practice in the use of these principles in the food and biotechnological industries. Live lectures online were complemented with live practical sessions online, and short presentations of activities conducted by participants. The course also offered the opportunity of promoting networking and communication between young scientists, experts and industrial partners interested in this attractive technology.
