One of FOX’s partner in Poland, Warsaw University of Life Sciences (WULS-SGGW), published a very interesting article regarding drying technologies on the 27th March 2022.

WULS-SGGW is involved in the Food Circle 2 of the FOX Project where they have focused on the research behind the transformation of fruit and vegetables into healthy dry snacks. For this specific case, their latest research consists of an analysis of the best drying technologies to produce dry snacks from apples while minimising operation costs and energy usage.
