Stichting wageningen research (WR)

Wageningen University and Research Centre is a leading international research organization that contributes importantly to the quality of life in the fields of food and health, sustainable agro-systems, and social changes, aiming at Science for Impact. Within Wageningen UR, Wageningen Food & Biobased Research (WFBR) provide strategic and applied research activities. WFBR develops insights and technologies that support companies, governments and other research institutes in creating innovative solutions for a healthier, more sustainable and prosperous world. WFBR partners in the creation and production of healthy and tasty foods, of truly-sustainable food chains, and in developing chemicals and materials that use biomass instead of fossil resources. The in-depth knowledge of the entire chain, from raw materials through processing to end product, drives WFBR. WFBR is working globally with industry, governmental authorities and other knowledge institutes and building on the science of Wageningen University.

    • Scientific coordinator
    • Coordinating segment: Technical Research & Innovation
    • Leading the Dutch Food Circle – Upcycling of plant-based food side streams by using mild processing
    • Supporting the overall dissemination and communication activities
