Vyzkumny Ustav Potravinarsky Praha – VUPP

Food Research Institute Prague (VUPP) is mostly focused on applied research. The main stream is focused on food with preventative effect on human health. It is aimed at improving the procedures for processing food from the beginning of production to their final preparation, the development of special foods for groups of people with extraordinary health requirements, by food entitlements in the search and development of related supervisory and evaluative techniques, analytics including the implementation of specific analyses, as well as the development and the production of special measuring equipment and techniques.

Role in FOX:

  • Organising the check of performance of the designed pre-treatment and drying units
  • Field testing and demonstration of prototype units to analyse the quality of products
  • Supporting the overall dissemination and communication activities
